Powerful people know something you don’t.

People are taking advantage of the fact that you don’t really know where you are.

You don’t really know how the world works.

You’ve just been spawned in it.

You were pushed through a school system, directed to do things by your parents and superiors, now you somehow work a job that you hate, you want something else, but you have no idea what else is.

99.9% of the world, you’ve never even been exposed to, yet you know that you’re missing out on something.

Your ability to make money is a great example.

Maybe you see other people who have managed to make a lot of money. Maybe they’ve done so in ways you would’ve never conceived. That is a sign that they know something that you don’t.

Spend enough time watching those people - you will see that they embody a charge that feels foreign to you. They are no more capable or inherently gifted. They are simply more informed, and therefore living in a reality that’s closer to what the world really is.

The world is a game.

Skilled players of the game don’t search for happiness, they create fulfillment.

They understand that the world is a Rubix Cube, in that it can and will look completely different moment to moment, depending on the will you project upon it. If you turn it and twist it one way, the colors will change - and if you put a little more attention on it, sprinkle in a little more strategy, you may even get all the sides to be the same colors. Perfect cohesion.

Reality is dependent on your position. And you choose your position.

Most of the people around you are a product of never being exposed to the deeper reality that we’re all swimming in.

We are all in a game, but only a small percentage of people know it. So, only a small number of people are playing. What an advantage!

They can make the big moves, while the rest of us look on in confusion, intimidation, and helplessness.

Recognition is the first step.

You don’t have to focus or overwhelm yourself right now by thinking about how to beat the game, or even get good at it. Just focus on learning how the game (the structure of interconnected systems) works. Then, focus on actually playing. You can get good later. As with everything, there are levels to this game. (You can keep going until everything means nothing, or you can choose to stop at the point where nothing means everything. But that’s a blog for a different day.)

That means watching. Being attentive. Engaging your thoughts and understanding the potential of how you could bend your reality to fit your desires.

Play the game.
