Mural Pricing
There are 2 main factors to consider when pricing a mural.
Size of the wall
The square footage of the wall will naturally play a key factor in the price of a mural, as rates are per sq/foot. Size of the wall will also impact the resources equipment needed to execute the design. For example, amount of paint, a ladder vs. a lift, etc.
Level of detail
Murals will range anywhere from $15/square foot to $50/square foot, depending on the level of detail desired. For something that looks more realistic, expect a higher rate. For something a little more flat, simple, or cartoon-style, you can expect a lower rate. If the design is dynamic and encompasses both intricate and simple elements, you’ll likely get a rate that’s somewhere in the middle.
